Rental Time Availability

• Monday through Sunday

• Rental hours 8am to 11 pm

The Facility offers the following for rental

• Kitchen is not available for general rental/use

  • Columbia Senior Diners (503-325-9693) may be contacted and could possibly provide catering service at events​

• Dining area​

  • Occupancy: Up to 54 (9 round tables seating 6 at each table)​

• Class Room/Dance area​

  • Occupancy: Up to 48 (8 round tables seating 6 at each table)​

• Combined Class/Dance and Dining area​

  • Occupancy up to 120 (20 round tables seating 6 at each table)​

  • Equipment available:

    • Chairs (120)​

    • Piano with bench

    • Sound system

    • Small stage

    • TV and DVD

    • Amplifier and Microphones

• Craft/ Board Room​

  • Equipment Available:​

    • Chairs (10)​

    • TV

    • Board Room Table

 

Decorations Permitted​

• Painters tape (blue)

• No tacks, scotch tape or masking tape permitted

• Helium ballons securely anchored permitted

• Absolutely no bird seed, confetti or rice

• Floating candles allowed

• Tables and chairs must remain inside at all times

• No tape permitted on flooring

Cleanup process

• Picking up renter equipment and any ASC equipment used

• Plan enough time to be finished and everyone out of the building by scheduled end time

• Large parties of 100 or more wil be charged a $100 janitorial fee

• If cleaning requires excessive time, you will forfeit part of your deposit to pay for that cleaning​

Fees and Refund Policy

Fees are determined by the Facilities Rental Rate chart below.  All rates, quoted below, are hourly. Long Term use rates are available and determined on an individual basis, upon request.

Except for ASC Members, a $5 non-refundable application processing fee and a refundable deposit of $100 is required upon submitting a rental application. 

​

Rental fees are due one (1) week prior to rental date. Deposits are refundable if no damages or cleaning costs apply.  Deposits may take up to two (2) weeks to be returned to renter.

 

Since the Center has reserved this time for the renter, no refunds will be awarded if renter 
decides to leave earlier than the time specified on the rental application.

Food

The City of Astoria and Astoria Senior Center is not responsible for health issues related to any foods consumed at an event.

​

Use of Alcohol

The use of Alcohol in or at the Astoria Senior Center is prohibited at all times​
